I didn't have any glitches or overheating issues, and I think most people are going to enjoy gaming on this tablet.

However, the Lenovo Tab B11 Pro gets it right somehow.

This includes disabling Lenovo's annoying Entertainment Space app, which I accomplished by finding it under "System Apps.". As a home media viewer/ productivity device? So far, so good. Once I got the bloatware removed, the interface is clean stock-ish android, with 6GB of RAM everything is running smoothly.

I'm a heavy reader, so this is being used for reading magazines/comics/manga/news apps, and watching videos here and there. I am aware of the not 100% sharp text issue on the P11 Pro, which I'm not too sure if this is will be an issue for me or not. Gaming usage will be limited and will be basic stuff, so more/less this will be media consumption focused device with web browsing and etc.

I would add the Galaxy Tab A7 and new Lenovo Tab P11 as mid-range options.

Why would your recommend a Tab S2? It's out of date and no longer updated.

I also was looking to get a new tablet and was trying to decide between that ipad and some android tablets. I ended up getting a Lenovo p11 pro. It was the same price as the ipad but it has a bigger screen, the screen is also OLED, it has more storage for the same price and supports SD card. Another thing I didn't liked about the ipad was that it still uses the lightning connector and it's even USB 2.0 speed.

It's actually Lenovo P11+ if you're interested. However, I have P11+ (and Yoga Tab 11) and I actually like them
