I saw the mid-tier that is the Lenovo P11 Pro. My job has a Perks for Work discount program...which I can get the Lenovo P11 Pro with Keyboard/Pen/128 GB/6 GB Ram for $484 free shipping to my house (not $600+). This setup would give me enough flexible when I need to use a keyboard for those heavy moments.

The tablet is up-to-date (Android 11) and I cannot find some apps like Signal messenger for instance. If I install it with Aptoid, it works like a charm but updates are not automatic (need to be root).

Looking for a fairly large tablet...mostly to be used mostly as a baby webcam so she can talk to family members

If it needs to be 12", the Samsung Tab S7 FE is the pick.

If it can be 10" try the Amazon Fire HD 10 or the Lenovo P11

Sniffing around for a tablet to purchase

If you want a small tablet (8") try the Lenovo Tab M8 or the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

If you want a 10" tablet try the Lenovo P11 or the Galaxy Tab A8

If you want a 12" tablet try the Galaxy Tab S7 FE

Flexible tablet for kids

If they fit in your price range a Samsung Tab A7 or a Lenovo P11 are good budget options with not too many compromises, definitely a big improvement from a fire 8.

IIRC the Tab A7 should have a Kids mode out of the box, don't know about the P11.

The Lenovo P11 pro as the user recommend is the best you can get Imported from china, don't get the non pro. Or get a iPad 8th gen, which although not Android is one of the best for performance at it's price point

Honestly if you have the budget for a Tab S7 (or +) or the Tab S8, I would get that. It's easily the best Android tablet on the market without a equal.

The Lenovo P11 Pro could also a be a good option in the same tier.

Cheap or mid-range tablets for college note-taking (physically keyboard case and pencil support)?

I have to be very honest with you, Lenovo P11 Pro continues to surprise me everyday. Great battery, Android, excellent screen, pen and keyboard all for about 400 bucks. I don't know what your budget is but I really recommend taking a look at it.
