The Edison bulb is larger than its globe-style counterparts, and the heavy wiring between each bulb has much more of a permanent installation feel. The bulb to socket junction is sealed nicely, and the plug is weather sealed like the Solatec. In fact, they seem to be almost identical cords. The lights were a nice middle range of brightness; they are less bright than their LED comparable and brighter than their globe incandescent neighbors. The cord is long enough to string across large spaces, but the spacing is a bit wider, too, with three feet of spacing between bulbs.
Overall, the Lemontec was extremely similar to our best choice, but in an incandescent offering. Generally, this means a warmer, softer light, with a little less durability and higher energy use. The second effect of the higher energy use per bulb is that the overall number of cords that can be strung together is reduced. The Lemontec recommends connecting no more than three strings simultaneously. Some glass bulbs we tested felt extremely fragile. These bulbs, although glass, were much more confidence-inspiring and never broke in our testing process. If the wide spacing seems beneficial for your installation needs, we think these are a nice upgrade over your everyday incandescent model.

To be honest, I just bought one to try and see how they worked, I'm so happy with them that I'm coming back for a second string. Materials seem to be high quality, after installing them, the weather changed and started to rain, they hold up turned on even being wet so they're really waterproof. They came in a box and I even traveled with them on my documented luggage and the bulbs came out without a scratch, I'm really looking forward to stick with this brand. They're not dimeable while in the description it implies they're and there's no control remote, that's the only thing

Best lights I've tried

I love these lights, they look great and they have lasted a while. I have recommended them to several ppl HOWEVER i took them down to clean them and I managed to break two of the bulbs. These broke into about 1000 tiny paper thin shards of glass (nightmare when it's on your deck and you have kids and dogs) that took FOREVER to clean up. I know it's not the companies fault I broke the bulbs but for an outdoor product I wish the glass was not as delicate

HANDLE CAREFULLY

I like the product that includes the 45ft light strip cable with its lights bulbs and not only that but they include 3 spare bulbs just in case one breaks or goes out. The part I did not like was that weight of the cable can be problem when you connect another 45ft strip light. It just wont stay together bc when you pull so you don’t have any slack they disconnect. So I’d give it a 4stars instead of a 5

These are great lights, solid commercial type. Just hooked them up so i am hoping to get 2-3 years out of them being outdoors (fingers crossed). The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the dimmer it talks about on the add has to be purchased separately for an extra cost.

Dimmer NOT Included.

 I'm sad to see 7 bulbs already burnt out but I'm hopeful that I can find some replacements for them easily. They have held up great otherwise and I'm thankful that just because some bulbs have gone out the remaining are still shining.

11 months and 7 bulbs already burnt out.

These feel and look substantial but we lost three "shatterproof" bulbs while putting them up

I really like the lights in my tree in my back yard, but one morning I cam out and one of the bulbs was on the ground having been chewed right off. I've wrapped it in electrical wiring tape and it still works.  If you don't have pesky squirrels, this is the lighting system for you.

It almost felt like I was going to break the bulb from over-tightening, but they all worked when I was done. I removed them all, hung the strand, then reinstalled the bulbs

Screw the bulbs in tight!

 So far I am beyond pleased! I hardly ever leave reviews but I felt like this was worth it. I was a little skeptical with the affordable price, but decided to go for it. I am so thrilled I did, the yellow/white lights are the perfect patio tint. They are very heavy duty and I can't wait to hang them up-- I will update this post with pictures and an updated review once I do! Hope this helps somebody else out there in deciding which lights to get for their patio!

**update!!** We finally hung up lights and installed. I am so thrilled with the results. The lighting is outstanding, and to think I paid a fraction of the cost of others so similar on here. Trust me when I tell you, this is a great quality product for a great price!  Just ordered this and installed all the light bulbs
