 By force of habit I bent over ready to use my teeth but then I felt my hand reach over the brick separator and I remembered. It was a bit confusing to use at first but once I looked at the design of the tool I understood. It worked great. The semi-hole studs on the bottom were great for detaching those smaller plates

I take my designing and building very seriously. It was always a hassle using my teeth to pry of those little plates. A lot of times The pieces would brake. That is never fun

Useful, but...

 This is a great lego tool to have. The value for money is fair, and it allows you to have great play expereince! It is a must have for seroius lego fans or just people that build,wreck,build,wreck alot every day! Thanks for reading my review! Note to lego: please make a wookie or ewok base. Also make the new 2012 sets come out earler, i can't wait to get the new and old sets here!

i would not buy this. i would recommend this, but it has included this same thing in town hall,and a batman set.dont waste $3 on this. buy a set that already includes this

 No tears. Everything is awesome! There's even a section to push stubborn axles out of wheels, and the handle can be used as a wedge to also get bricks apart. I would highly recommend getting multiple in case one goes missing. To put it all in perspective, my five year old son had a Lego tool at his dad's house, but none with me

 It's worth far more its weight in gold! The brick separator does just as described. It separates bricks. And ALL of the bricks. Including those pesky flat bricks that always get stuck and stay stuck no matter what

Amazing! This has amazing quality you can separate most anything with this! I love how the end is designed to easily pry flat tiles up, and the top part has a small axle that is used to push axles/pins out of gears or axles/pins that are stuck in the bricks that have a cross in the middle, and the top witch is designed to easily remove plates from bricks, or plates from plates! It all functions great! Yet i don't know if i just do it wrong or what but when there are 2 1x2s stuck on top of one another i use the end part witch is the part to pry up tiles and i push it between the two plates and it separates fine but then there are very small dents in the bottom of the separator it still separates everything fine but i don't understand the dents. Anyway this works amazingly everyone and i mean everyone who does Lego's needs this! But i think if you are a person who buys big sets with separates in them should not buy this separately unless you are someone like me who doesn't buy big sets then you should just buy it separately!
