I give this product a 4 stars because I wish the electric cord was longer, otherwise it's a 5 star. We live in a hot climate and this pad was going to be for the 5 days it rains here and the cooler nights. I have a senior cat, so I was trying to get a pad that had that Goldilocks effect not too hot, not too cold. Overall my cat likes his heating pad
