An involved game that's worth it.
Do you enjoy detailed games with a lot of parts? If so, then Keyflower would be a good game for you to buy and play. It takes a bit of time to learn all the different mechanics of the game, but once you do the game flows pretty well. Whenever I teach a new person the game I let them know that they w...
Monday Morning Quarterback – Istanbul: The Dice Game, The Flow of History, & KeyFlower
NOT SO EASY, BREESY:. Last, but certainly not least, we dug into a game of Keyflower by designer, Richard Brees , published by R & D Games, and part of the famous Key series of games. By this time, Alex and Derek had arrived, so we were able to play the full six player complement without expansions
Keyflower is my favorite game and when considering why, ive decided it comes down to the way different players interact. You have direct conflict that can make or break a strategy but its not destructive so usually the loser in an interaction isnt as punished. I also like the decision you just make to either run your engine or fight other people for new engibe parts or run someone elses engine but pay them for it.
I highly recommend Keyflower to fans of heavy euros or anyone that wants a twist on traditional worker placement or auction games. iSlaytheDragon would like to thank Game Salute for providing us with a review copy of Keyflower (and an additional thanks for their patience).
Keyflower Board Game Review - Still Worth It?
It's just too meaty too chunky, and it reminds me of dog food. So, to summarise, is key flower still worth your time with bother today and in the future, so we're going to say yes, absolutely being fans of eurogames. This is well now one of our favorite toll line games of all time right
Fun, short game with great replayability
It's a fairly deep worker-placement euro game. The game plays fast, plays really well even with only two players. More players brings more tiles and more options to the game, increasing complexity and fun factor. This is easily one of games with best re-playability. Highly recommended!
What game has taken your #1 spot from your previously favorite game?
Man **Keyflower** was one of my first games I bought maybe 4 years ago and I can't seem to top it. **Tigris and Euphrates** has come close and might have, but it doesn't play that well two player and no one likes it as much as I.
Great game, moderately complex Mechanics
While the instructions are fairly dense for this game, once you get playing the rules are fairly simple. It is a bidding game to build tiles to form a small village. The theme ties in well with the mechanics and the components are of high quality.
