Bissell Zing, cheap and terrible. Kenmore Elite 81714, good all around canister vacuum. I voted for the Miele C2 Electro+ because it was the best on the list but sticking to your budget is good too. Kenmore canister vacuums are not as good as Miele but they're one half to one third the price so they're also a good pick.
