Vacuum Cleaner Recommendation for New House
If you have any of those available in your area, it would probably fit your needs. On top of a regular power nozzle, most of the canister variants come with a miniature electric nozzle for carpeted stairs, furniture, vehicles, small areas, and so forth. A Kenmore would likely hit at the lower end of your price range. If you have any newer Kenmore uprights such as the 31140 or the Elite 31150, those do well on the used market as well.
A joke - it had one job!
The media could not be loaded. Horrible - see for yourself in my video! Is this vacuum a joke? Firstly, the bristles scratch the floors unless you set it on “high,” which lifts up the vacuum so that the bristles don’t touch the floors. We did a test on the high “floor” setting using various crumbs, ...
The power cord on my same model broke after years of excellent service. Sears did not have the part. So I purchased a new one. The old vacuum was a bit more powerful, but the new and exact same machine is the best vacuum Is pretty good. That’s why I purchased it again. It’s a monster. Sucks aliens f...
Kenmore Elite 31150/BU1017/BU1018 Upright Vacuum Cleaner - A Quick and Lazy Review
The turbo tool does well for stairs, but you run out of hose very quickly. Again, there's a recurring theme with the hose [Music] Due to the power of the machine, the stretch hose does not like to stretch
Know Nothing About Vacuums -- What Should I Buy?
The Hoovers are made of cheaper plastic which makes them break at certain clips and areas such as the bases where the back wheels mount and they chew through belts pretty quickly. They are good machines for the price, but not as good as the Kenmores. The Kenmore has a sealed HEPA filtration system that is better for allergies and a true lifetime belt with a separate brush roll motor for ease of transition onto different floor types. It weighs a bit more than the Hoover, but is a way better machine overall.
Please call back during these business hours and have a great day. " Needless to say
This vacuum broke 4 and a half months after I bought it. The roller stopped working. We thought it was the fan belt, but it wasn't. I spent the day searching online how to repair it myself, but was unable to do so. I tried calling the number on the back of the unit, 877 531 7321. I called this numbe...
Not a Light-Weight, literally!
This vacuum is a dream machine! Not for weak arms but does a great job cleaning the floor! Has options for hard/carpet. All the attachments fit easily on the machine, and set-up was a snap. If you’re over all those eco bagless things, this will do the trick. I’ve only ever tolerated my bagless machi...
I’m interested in Kenmore Elite 31150
I find them aaallllll the time at second-hand stores. The main thing that the 31150 specifically lacks over a more expensive machine is a super good warranty. Also, some users find them to be a bit heavy at 20 pounds, but that personally has not been an issue with me. One thing I wish they would offer is an extension hose since the one on the unit is not overly long, but that's not a deal-breaker either.
