KEF LSX II

I purchased a SVS SB-1000 to help with the low end also, but so far, they are not matching well. The LSX seem to sound a lot better as soon as I make them louder, like 80 and up. But I don’t listen to music that loud, that close.

But for dialogue in TV/movies, the KEF sound better to me (same mid range presentation benefits re music) and have optical in as you’d know - with the 5s you have to Airplay content to them from an Apple TV to avoid lip sync delay from their line in only. And that means no free to air without lip sync delay. I reckon LSX with sub would be best, but then it should given the price diff of that vs pair of 5s.

YOU CAN'T PLUG A SOURCE DIRECTLY IN THE SPEAKERS , only works with a wireless connection through internet and their SUPER BAD app. even if they have input jacks at the back, the jacks only work if you are online with them sniffing your underwear and it doesn't even work . If You want to listen external sources KEF is only way to You.. Sonos mini jack stereo inputs is a crap - there is a big half second delay for it... There is no other types of inputs...
