 and it has mesh pockets on both sides, so that's nice. it's got a front zip pocket, which is good. I mean, I think that's much more useful than something. zippers

 This would be a gray backpack for like a middle schooler or a high school student. Like it would last out the year. Probably save their back, but it's not going to be like very great. um, the fabric

 I mean, I could probably fit everything I need in here and some, but the zippers. They're just killing me and this backpack situation. I don't know. I can't say I'm a fan

 I can imagine that when my child's wearing this, she'll have to constantly be tightening it with these. There's also no, um, chest buckle, so when she is wearing it as a backpack, it'll be you know, on her shoulders. But they don't have that chest buckle that a lot of the backpacks have, so that's kind of something that I wish they had something to look for in the next one that we buy.

 So hopefully it'll be big enough to accommodate all the big books that the third graders have. Um, but yes, the straps are definitely not the best quality. I imagine that the straps will be breaking and maybe can be replaced. I'm not sure

 You can access the pens and such. One thing I'm not too crazy about is the quality of the straps. This part here. It's all plastic

 The straps themselves are very thin, very thin, slippery kind of strap. And these hooks are just plastic. and they seem impossible to take off. But it's just plastic

I like the size of this backpack

 The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the bag has pockets to conveniently tuck in the straps for when you choose to roll it. When my daughter adjusted the straps to suit her, the straps weren't long enough to tuck in, and so the bottom half of one of the straps that dangled past the wheels, got caught in them while they rolled. This caused the wheels to eat at the left strap tearing part of it, though not cutting it off completely. Other than that, we love it
