I love using my Hyperlite Mountain Gear Southwest 2400 pack as a sorta everyday carry pack if I’m traveling, mostly to avoid having to bring a second backpack. It already makes a great daypack on hikes, so I figured why not carry it around more often? I spent enough money on it!!. So now when I’m going somewhere with my dog, I put my stuff and hers in the Hyperlite.

**Hyperlite 2400 Southwest**: I'm not sold on this pack. With the hard to reach water bottle pockets and the barely padded hip belt and shoulder straps, I'm not sure it's worth the price tag. I bought it at REI so I may return it, we'll see!
