HP Envy 5540

Take a look at the Precision series - not cheap, but I have a 5540 with an i9 (16 thread) processor and it's close to the best laptop I could have asked for

Edit: I wanted to edit my review. I found out part of the problem was that the printer wasn't on our wifi network but was using its own wifi. Hp Envy, Asus Vivobook, chromebook, XPS 13, 15 and 17 are all worth looking into. Apart from these if you need more laptops you can just go to noteb.com and put in the specs u need. The site will list all laptop with the required specs.

I've handled it in store, and it feels quite good to use. The HP Envy and Specter 15 are also worth having a look at. I believe they come with the ports you want, and HP does have decent build quality. They also have some features like their X360 models if that's your thing.

Yeah, HP Envy is your best bet. I think Walmart has some $250 laptops that are actually really good so long as you upgrade the RAM, which you can do to get 16 GB for like $60.
