 Well, it arrived with the same exact problem, a cracked hinge. Neither of the boxes were damaged so these left the factory that way. This time I returned the fan and just got a refund. I’m using a small Vornado fan right now, and with the weather turning cooler, it will do for now

Owned Honeywell fans for years but…

 It'S got a pretty sturdy tilting mechanism to it. Unlike some other fans that will just break right off of the base when you try to tilt them, i'm not going to mention any brand names here other than this one. This is the honeywell ht908 turbo space force. Uh super velocity floor table desk fan

I mean at the old house i used to put this pretty much directly over the floor, vents for the central air just to kind of push the air through the house on really hot days like really hot humid days. I would put this fan and the other one um right in front of the vent on the floor

 I did not realize when I bought it that the fan only tilts up and not down (I need it to blow down on me from a file cabinet), but I was able to to tip the base and the fan in a way to make this happen. Fans in general make a lot of noise (in my opinion), but this brand is as quiet as they get while providing a lot of wind/cooling power. I would still highly recommend this fan in spite of some of my expectations not being met as anticipated.

This fan was much larger than stated dimensions and not the same as I ordered previously.
