It's many advanced features keeping current technology in mind. However it's not DIY project, in my strong opinion, AC technicians is required as it is definitely not easy to set up specially those who do not have any electrical and computer knowledge.

This is a used before item so is hard to trust it’s condition

 Touch anywhere on the screen and it lights-up to attention and displays additional information, and access to menus, and settings. After some non-action, the screen goes back to its resting state. I had no "C wire" in my previous controller and my newish Lennox HVAC system apparently doesn't require one so updating my old controller to this one was easy for me. One minor nit-pick has to do with the mounting hardware

7 ounces, 3M heavy-duty double-sided foam mounting tape might do instead of screws. To wrap up this review, this unit provides copious amounts of programmability, which you don't have to use but it's there. It looks good and has a responsive touch UI. I would recommend it to a friend
