These are insanely light, they are super comfortable, they are made with a plastic outer and a soft fabric, the fabric shapes after your feet after a few days use. The fabric holds water, which made them uncomfortable when used in the shower, also not as good for walking on a beach/when wet.

Havaianas: The standard model, size 42, weight 348g for the pair. I feel these are the gold standard of flipflops. They are made of one big piece of rubber, they are comfortable, flat bottom, built like tanks.

In the before-times, I've always just used my allbirds tree skippers and a crappy pair of flip flops if I anticipate showering in less-than-ideal places. But recently I've gone to more adventurous, outdoorsy and less urban places, such as locales with lots of beaches and mountains.

I'm thinking of a Hawaii trip in the distant future. I have a pair of Arcteryx Aerios FL GTX boots I can wear to the airport, but what sandals should I bring, if at all?

 These turned out to be equivalent to a European size 37/38 (as marked on the flip flop), which is NOT the same as a US women's size 5/6. I'm keeping these because I need some flip flops soon but am not too happy.

This is my second pair of Havianas. I love their shoes, but I'm upset with these. I got a size 9/10 and they feel like a size 8.

Sizes run smaller

 In fact the footbed of the shoe will get dirty, but the strap remains white. The two eventually become two different whites. But it doesn't take away from the comfort of the shoe.
