This model includes mounting brackets with screws and zip ties to two separate cords that allow you to have two independent light strands if you cut the original.
Though we love the brightness offered by the GuoTonG, there is no dimming feature, which would be helpful for times when you want to change the ambiance. It's also a cooler temperature of light, which works better in interior spaces that are similarly toned, rather than paired with warm colors. Whether used for indoor or outdoor settings, we think the GuoTonG is a great choice.

Needs correct product instructions.

We used these lights above our counters in the kitchen. While the brightness is very good, there is no way to alter the size to meet your needs. They are too long for one set of cabinets and we cannot use shorter ones from other vendors as the brightness and color is different. We have still not resolved this dilemma

 I finally threw them all out and bought 2 of the 130 feet rolls of these LED rope lights plus a 50 foot roll and a bag of 100 plastic screw in hangers. It took longer to remove the old lights and string ties than to install these vinyl ropes using the non supplied hangers. I cut one set to split into two directions with ease and used one set in full to cover a longer section. They are much sturdier than exposed copper wire fairy lights and much easier to install

Using a dual receptacle Woods waterproof programable timer on each set gives me control over on and off times and a Woods remote switch will be used on the 50 light set for a hotbtub area. I love that they have fused direct 110V plugs to protect them but run on 12 volts

 I would gladly pay a reasonable amount for connector and any other needed parts so I don't have to throw out 25 feet of brand new rope light. If you can resolve this issue I would be happy to update my review.

 This would allow me to connect it to the power cord (picture 3) I need a male connection so I can use the cut 25 foot string for a separate application (landscaping in front yard). The product detail and Q&A's regarding cutting is misleading because without a power connector to create a male end I cannot utilize the cut piece. I would gladly pay a reasonable amount for connector and any other needed parts so I don't have to throw out 25 feet of brand new rope light. If you can resolve this issue I would be happy to update my review

Rope lights so far work fine, but plan on throwing away extra rope light that you cut

  PS- The other reason for 1-star off is the clips. Would prefer to see heavier duty clips included as I am not sure the ones included are going to last very long in NC weather.  ****update 7/2021**** They are still working flawlessly after 15 mos and I give the lights themselves 5-stars, but the clips included are worthless. Good bright lights!  My neighbor purchased 2 sets for around their deck and pool

 I installed this set (under my deck railing) beginning of 2/2020, so we will see how they work out in the long run. I purchased a second set of 130ft, only to find out 3/4 of the set was bad and would not light up. There might be some QC issue as they are mass produced like everything else now days. I will update the review and rating

4-5 Stars, lights good, clips bad…..read on as to why.

 It’s as if I am lighting up the yard rather than a background accent. It takes a lot of effort to install so I am debating with myself whether to take them down or not. I am not sure if they are returnable as they are not defective.

Too bright

I ran this around the ceiling in my kitchen to increase the light in there. Works great. Everything is evenly lit up, no more shadowy areas. I have about 6-8 feet that overlapped but I'm fine with that
