 Some users will press that to set the timer for a quick 30-second operation while others may actually program in 30 seconds by hitting "Cook, 3, 0, Start." It accomplishes the same thing. The +30 Sec button is only for convenience but does not change the operation of the machine: it still cooks for 30 seconds at high power in both situations.  I hope others find this information helpful and that this experience has been a good lesson learned for the folks at Ming's Mark in regard to providing good customer service

Good Oven but...

It's small, don't expect to do a whole rotisserie chicken......

 I have to say I’m disappointed in it at this price point. I really was so excited ordering it and couldn’t wait to get it. I really wanted to love this unit but no.  Also, the inside dimensions of this one are approximately 9 1/2" x 10" and on the Power Air Fryer 8 qt the inside is 10 1/4" by 11 1/2" so how can an over 12 qt, as advertised, be smaller inside than an 8 qt??

Top temperature setting is 430F, which either isn't as high as you get in the smaller, drawer type air fryers, or the element/fan combo in this oven is simply underpowered for the unit. Consequences of this include uneven cooking (darker at the top, undercooked at the bottom) and a lot more time waiting for the cooking cycle to finish

  Other than really just more power, the only other thing I'd wish for in this oven is some sort of heat deflector to redirect hot air from the back of the unit either up or to the sides. This would allow the user to push the oven closer to the wall, saving space without fear of cooking something outside (behind) the unit.  All in all, it's been a moderately useful purchase and for the most part does its assigned job well, if a bit more slowly than expected. While it excels on usable space, it's inferior to my crappy old air fryer in terms of performance

Nice capacity for its size, but lacks in power & results of smaller versions

 E.g. preset for 40 minutes will need an additional 20 minutes. Also, the front controls gets very warm to the touch, but not enough to burn you, and yes the rest of the outside will get hot enough to burn you, so this is not a device for a child to use

 We have made fries from fresh potatoes, frozen tater tots, toasted buns and slices of bread, grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and rotisseried a 4.49lb whole chicken.  I have done some broiling at 425 degrees. The exhaust port has not "melted" as in other reviews. My guess, is that you must follow directions and keep the minimum airspace clear around the oven as instructed in the operating manual to prevent overheating. The exterior of the oven gets warm, but not HOT like my old toaster oven did
