In addition, warmth and coziness is surprising good considering the $70 price—it’s a step down from the Hestra Heli and Black Diamond Guide, but the difference isn’t substantial and should be plenty for most days on the hill.

Both the Storm Trooper II and Burton Gore-Tex below are solid options at around $70 (and both often are on sale for less). The Gordini is a little warmer overall, although the removable lining gives the Burton more flexibility for warmer ski days. But the Storm Trooper is much softer on the interior and the best budget ski glove we’ve used to date. I currently cannot trust these on vertical alpine hikes which require a firm grip on my axe, so that will be stuck to recreational hikes. Finally, the price was good: under 50 for the pair shipped, I'd be upset otherwise.

These gloves were purchased to replace a pair which was similar in construction: a vapor barrier, inset liners among other features. My comparison and baseline was to replace the 10-year old pair.

Finger Space Disproportionate, Not Warm

The glove looks like it is a good quality ski glove but unfortunately, I had to return it because it runs too small. I have other ski gloves in XL size but this one was at least one size smaller than my other gloves.

Could be a good glove but runs small

After running an old, ratty pair of gloves for almost a decade, these feel great.  My fingers have stayed warm down into the teens on pretty regular hikes and the wrist straps are great for pulling them off if I ever feel my hands overheating on a hike.

Solid winter glove

I bought these gloves in anticipation of the 2017-2018 ski season in northern Michigan and for trip out to Tahoe. Testing them in the rain here in Michigan and they're definitely waterproof, shrugging off freezing rain and keeping my hands warm.

They fit true to size and have a lot of loft which should help with insulation and impact for when the inevitable fall happens.

Bought 3 pairs for my teenage sons for our ski vacation. I researched a bunch and decided on these on based on performance and cost. Bonus they were on sale too. Wrist straps are super helpful too, one less things to carry :)

Nice warm ski glove for Midwest skiing.

I bought them before a ski and winter hiking trip to the Adirondacks, NY. Really happy with them (2 ski days one hike).  They are pretty warm and easy to put and adjust.  The weather was 20-30s, so not too cold and not wet

Although I have not worn in winter weather yet, compared to other gloves I own, I can tell that these are very high quality.  Great features, style, fit and comfort.  Very easy to adjust with gloves on.

Falling apart at the seams and all the synthetic leather in the palms after only 2 seasons of use. Save you money and buy something more durable. Just "ok" for warmth.
