Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

LRP anthelios SPF 50 (love this baby, been using for few months and seems to be good). Garnier micellar water (been using for a few months, don’t think it’s caused any irritation). cetaphil gentle skin cleanser.

I like that this cleanser is gentle on the skin and is free of fragrance and dyes. It won’t irritate your skin or dry it out. However it’s so gentle that it doesn’t really clean deep into the pores. It comes out of the bottle with a thick consistency, but once it's spread and dried, it's so light! Like I just applied water. I apply a bit of this during the day, before vit C, on my cheeks and jaw when they are extra dry.

Cleans face really well, but it leaves my face sticky and kind of that dry/stretched face feeling. I tried the bioderma one and the water itself feels different and my face feels much smoother and not sticky.

I personally use Garnier Water Rose micellar cleansing water from time to time when I just need to freshen up or if I’m too lazy to do a face wash. For reference, I don’t wear makeup, and I’m not diligent about sunscreen bc I am literally inside 99% of my day. So when I use it with cotton pads, I don’t bother rinsing it off.

I did not like this period it left a greasy feeling film on my skin.. It did take the makeup and grime away but it left me with just as much ick factor as before I started.

Turns out that i started using Garnier micellar water 4 months ago as an only cleanser for my face. It works great for me, my skin doesn´t break out or anything and i´m left with a very cleaned skin sensation after using it, the exact same as when i used to use plain soap but less stripping.

I expected it to be very better than it was. I think it’s hyped up and I wouldn’t but it again. I’ve tried others that were better.
