Garmin Vivosmart 4 Review
At the end of the day, the Garmin Vivosmart 4 is one of the best affordable trackers for the primarily fitness-minded. The Garmin Vivosmart 4 is an attractive fitness tracker with accurate, in-depth metrics and up to a week of battery life.

So I bought a Vivosmart 4 a few weeks ago and while I like tracker, the Garmin Connect app (at least on iOS) is a total piece of crap. The UI feels 10 years outdated and the UX is totally unintuitive, it app only works with internet connectivity, I guess it's basically a different frontend to the web version (which also feels like version 1.0 built in 2010).
Smaller Than Stated. Best of the Vivosmarts!
UPDATE OCT 01 2018 - GPS City, the seller sent me, the shipping label that Amazon would not. Thank you GPS City! Now that I have a size a large I am able to finally use this. First let me say that even the large is not sized as Garmin states. However, it should be large enough for up to 8" wrists. S...

who here has made the switch from fitbit to garmin? thoughts?
The vivosmart 4 did a decent job connecting to my iPhone's GPS for walks/runs, and at least the Garmin app would tell me speed and not just 'pace'. The app also worked very well with MyFitnessPal, noticeably better than the Fitbit app.

Switched to this from a Fitbit Versa. Here's how it compares for me...
After having two Fitbit Versa's die on me, I decided to try something else, and the Vivosmart 4 seemed to fit the bill. First off, the Vivosmart battery life is so much better than the Versa. This is huge, as I was really getting tired of having to charge the Versa every couple of days. The Vivosmar...

* Vivosmart 4 - Almost as good as the charge 4 except Garmins sleep tracking doesn't seem to be good? No interchangeable band.
Great device depending on what you need it for
This watch is amazing. After reading and re-reading a lot of reviews, I was wary, but I have used Garmin devices for years and needed an upgrade. I have loved every Garmin watch I have had and took the chance on this one. Short story - I love it. I need it for steps, move alert, and heart rate. It h...

Got my vivosmart 4 three weeks ago. My bodybattery on vacation where I was pretty active swimming was in the 25-75 range. Only twice did it get to 100. Now back to work and bad sleep it charged to only 54.
Heart rate and pulse oxygen meter do not work!
There are many good things about this watch: small size makes it less intrusive and the battery life is great, making it easy to wear 24/7. The heart rate (HR) numbers are accurate when you are not moving. But, the HR readings are completely wrong when running --shows my running HR as either 20 or m...

Does anyone get low O2 readings for short periods overnight? (Vivosmart 4)
I have the exact same experience and I also have a Vivosmart 4, mine gets as low at 84. I mentioned it to my doctor a few weeks ago, right after a blood test (for a different reason) and he said my blood oxygen levels are always at 100% when I get my blood tested, so he doesn't think it's anything to worry about.
