Our favorite soda water maker is the FIZZpod Soda Maker, which produced strong carbonation and was the simplest model to set up and use. We liked not having to thread a bottle into the machine; simply use the carbonator lid, place it in the slender machine, and press the top down. It was quick and easy. They are about 14.5 inches tall compared to the next tallest at 11 inches and have a narrow build that is easy to tip over. The overall structure of the bottle makes it hard to carry in a water bottle pouch or cup holder or place in the refrigerator. The FIZZpod is a great option for someone who doesn't have a lot of counter space and wants not only sparkling water, but sparkling juices, wines, and more.

 But with the Sodastream as comparison I'm not satisfied with the drinks from the Fizzpod.  I will say though that the Co2 canisters are a lot easier to load in the Fizzpod than Sodastream, and the bottles setting firmly against the bottom is a much better design. But the bottles are too tall to stand upright anywhere in my fridge, they're not really practical to drink from, and they're too tall for the average bottle brush. With that in mind and I that like my soda fizzier than what it does I'm afraid I need to return it

 I can tell that drink is carbonated because of the need to burp after a few swallows but I can't feel or taste any fizzy bubbles when I drink, and it took many more puffs of Co2 than it's supposed to to get it that carbonated.  Perhaps if the Fizzpod had been my first carbonator it wouldn't have been something that bothered me. But with the Sodastream as comparison I'm not satisfied with the drinks from the Fizzpod.  With my Sodastream you add favoring afterwards then gently roll it to mix which doesn't mix it all that well.  The thing is this Fizzpod just doesn't carbonate as well as Sodastream.
