The text size on the screen is much bigger, but it seems to have thrown the list of stats (steps, active minutes, heart rate) off centre & now everything looks a little bit odd. Plus you can now configure your luxe to have an always on display! It’s dimmer than when you wake your Fitbit, but equally colourful!.

I didn't have a problem with step counting or connectivity. The unit worked just fine in that regard. Now to be fair, I did only wear it for 36 or so hours. And within that time, the gold sides (I bought the white) were scuffed and scratched. And this was with a protective case over the entire fitbi...

She's returning the Luxe because Fitbit still hasn't learned their lesson about strap connections. I understand the early Charge models had bad strap connectors, but it was well sorted by the time to got to our model and we've enjoyed the available selection of 1st and 3rd party straps available and no issues connecting and disconnecting them from the watch. The Luxe connector is crap, sadly, and seems to be a repeat of the early Charge model failures.

I still love the design and features of my Luxe, but I’m now awaiting my second replacement device from Fitbit support after screen issues with my original device and battery issues with my first replacement. So I’ve accepted that I’ll probably be shopping for a new tracker soon 🙃. In case anyone can recommend a new model, here’s what I like most about the Luxe: the slim profile, customizable clock faces, and the features I use most are step counter, heart rate, sleep tracker, and mobile notifications.

Meh. Bought this an upgrade from my Alta. Receiving Notifications are hit and miss and I don’t need half the features. Battery does not last 5 days with basic settings. If I could return it would, I’m not in love with it.
