Although the charge 3 gives you some more features, the size of the Inspire HR basically sealed the deal for me.

Comfort: the Inspire HR was a disaster in terms of comfort because the bottom (where it makes skin contact) was 'pointy' and poked at your wrist in a concentrated area. The Inspire 2 was an improvement on this, as it was more flat, and this seems to be about in line with the Inspire 2 in terms of comfort.

Once the novelty wore off, I feel like I was left with an overpriced basic watch.

TL;DR: The Fitbit Inspire HR can be good for general purpose activity tracking. I would not recommend it for someone specifically looking to track heart rate to reach fitness goals. How long have you had your fitbit before it gave out?

My fitbit inspire hr just randomly died 2 weeks ago and one of the band connectors also broke. All of mine, except my first fitbit which lasted for almost 2.5 years, have died around the just after 1 year to 2 year mark and the only thing the fitbit support did was to offer me a pathetic discount since I was out of the warranty period. Awful brand experience. Looking for other options as I don't want to keep doing this.

I like that the Stats Heavy clock face on the Inspire HR can show you the time, steps, heart rate, calories, and distance all in a single glance view. Does the Luxe have anything similar?

Well this is pretty much the end of Fitbit. We all know what happened with Nest when Google bought them. I’m going to stick with my Inspire HR as long as possible but as soon as things go south under Google I’m getting an Apple Watch.
