The knife is exceptional. The leather sheath is really nice as well… but I took a star off because I feel like the retention is a little poor. I’ll be looking for a custom leather or Kydex sheath in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate on the knife though.

Knife is great as are all esee knives the 6hm is my fourth esee I’ve added to the collection. The leather sheath however Was made poorly and started falling apart after a single overnight bushcraft trip, even left a Knick in my pants.

With a lanyard wrapped around my hand I have a secure grip for every day use and chopping. Not fond of the the paint used to protect the lad though. They should have used some type of bluing. Well made sheeth.

This is a large knife suitable for heavy camp use or bush crafting. It's very comfortable in the hand and doesn't create any hot spots during extended use. ESEE has great quality and amazing customer service. If your on the fence on this one don't hesitate to purchase this knife!!
