Compared to the beater that pulled all the fiber out of our good sweatshirts, socks, etc., and still didn't dry them completely, this well-designed dryer is gentle and accurately dries whatever is in the drum. I appreciate all the thoughtful optional settings too. When a load is done, IT IS DONE!
