 Do you need your pitch to dip dramatically and spring back up? Just flip the switch back into the down position and apply the same principle. You can also set the center switch to the dual position to get an interesting combination of intervals. There we go. There we go

 In this clip I'm running the Pitchfork into a distorted amp. I'll start with the guitar in standard tuning and then using the Pitchfork I'll drop it down. Dropping the pitch down an octave transforms your guitar into a bass guitar. I'll add a Deluxe Big Muff at the end for a fuzz bass effect

It works best if you put it at the beginning the effects chain.  I love it because you can also plug and expression pedal and make it a whammy effect.  The sound quality is very good.

Pitchfork is amazing.

When playing with an expression pedal, when you start to bend towards the end of the effect range, tracking starts to lag a bit. Since I don't use this for detuning, this really isn't an issue for me. For whole step down bends and octaves this thing is absolutely killer, however I have an AnalogMan CompROSSor on the way that I'm going to put directly after this to hopefully help even out the subtle variations in tone through the range of the effect. Trey uses this to his advantage with his whammy pedal, but I also plan to use this for the occasional faux slide lick and the compressor should really help make it sound more authentic, like how Jimmy Herring uses his whammy bar

This pedal is completely noise free and puts out just clean pure luscious tones. Before I purchased this pedal, I tried two other ones and was extremely disappointed by the amount of noise they put out. This one is ridiculously easy to use, the controls have a nice tight feel to them and this thing has a very nice heavy duty feel to it as well. When switching the dials or pressing the bypass button there is no clicking or popping at all suggesting the electronics are very well made

Does everything a pog can do and more

 A little pricey but you can add a expression pedal for whammy effect! ($95) extra. Other then that, she's a keeper. Comes with power supply
