What looper pedal has the best interface?

Some of these can do three individual loops or more. There's a lot of possibilities with these. Most have midi capabilities and they are powerful units with a bunch of features. I have the ehx 720 and moved to the infinity looper 1 and am very happy.

Best looper to buy?

I love my ehx 720 looper. Holds ten loops, has reverse and half time, and a bunch of other cool features. I use it for sounscapey/pad kinda sounds. Really fun to use! I think there’s a new version out too, definitely worth checking out

Looper pedals: where to start?

I settled on an EHX 720. It is very similar to the Ditto, but I like the option for external footswitch, and I like having the memory for saved loops and ‘scapes. They show up fairly cheap on Reverb and there’s a smaller one and a larger one, priced respectively.

Ammoon Stereo Looper is a fantastic first looper. It’s cloned after the EHX 720. I’ve been gigging on one for almost two years and it still great. Tracking is excellent, and the dedicated stop switch is incredibly handy.

I own an EHX 720. Thoroughly enjoy it. 12 minutes of loop time, 10 memory slots, reverse and 1/2 speed, and a dedicated stop button. Runs about $150 new but worth it.

Looper for my husband

I would recommend the EHX 720 looper. I don't think Sweetwater carries them anymore, but I got mine brand new from a store on Reverb. It's a good balance of simple but a handful of extras. It's easy to use as a basic looper or an on-the-fly looper, but it can also store 10 loops and has an optional reverse-playback effect.
