I got my partner an Ecomobl ET. It has a lot of trouble getting started on very mild slopes. Is this normal/expected behavior when starting from a standstill, or is there something wrong with the skateboard?

Both of us have minimal skateboarding experience, but I tried to do a lot of research before I bought it. I chose the Ecomobl ET because it's designed for slopes and offroad conditions (which is pretty much all we have around here), and because my partner is well within the advertised weight limit of 330lb/150kg (he is 6'6 and just under 260lb/115kg).

So this is a review on the first 4 days .. so far I had many boards but not with this much power and the LED lights are a great add on .. you can control with your remote .. which is a big plus .. cut them off and on just by pressing a button while riding .. I did run into one problem .. but custome...

Difference in comfort - flex deck + CW / not-flexible deck + pneumatic wheels

Generally, smooth riding wheels (usually pneumatic) have lower range despite their larger diameter. If you have a long commute, you might want to sacrifice some smoothness to get the range required to arrive at your destination Not arriving is often inconvenient. My Ecomobl ET has 6" solid tyres (urethane) and rides reasonably smoothly with good range. Your priorities may be different.

Took the Ecomobl ET to a new park yesterday. A lot less dirt and a lot more pavement than anticipated but it was still a pretty nice ride and a decent intro to the abilities of the board with the hills and the muddy/sandy trail parts.
