For commute I think it's better to use TWS earbuds or TWS adapters. Look into the Earfun Free Pro (2) or the models they're based on, FIIL T1/T2 Pro. More so the T1/T2 Pro as those have an app where you basically get more features and customization. Those are small and have a low profile design and so you'll have better passive noise isolation if you don't use the ANC.

Build quality: The build quality is only OK, bordering on bad. The mesh over the end has already fallen off after a month and a half. Its just a little glued on piece.
