EarFun Free 2

One of the TWS to use in bed or for home work or for travelling. The Earfun Free Pro 1 and 2 are tuned by me with their internal parametric EQ. The Hifimans are for pure music listening pleasure. My most used headphones at the moment are the Hifiman Edition XS and Sennheiser HD560S.

The EarFun Free 2 buds aren't a huge upgrade, but like the originals, they fit my ears well and deliver good bang for the buck with strong sound -- it has just a touch of treble and bass boost (there's plenty of bass) -- and extra features such as wireless charging. They also work well as a headset for making calls.

Earfun Free Pro 2:. * Very good ANC and comfortable fit.

However, even though they have active noise cancelling (ANC) and they can block out a decent amount of ambient noise around you, their performance in this regard falls short of that of the previous gen.

ANC. Gamesky found the ANC to be pretty non-existent. I disagree, but it isn't very strong. The ANC on the Earfun Free Pro 2 or Air Pro 2 or Soundcore Life A2 NC is significantly better.

Honestly, I am blown away by these earbuds, and especially for the price! I've always detested in ear earbuds because they'd make my ears hurt or sounded awful, but these don't hurt and sound incredible. You simply cannot watch video with them because of the latency, but for me just listening to mus...

Earfun Free Pro 2 - pretty good sound quality, even though I think the Fiil beat it slightly, but these are TINY, and really comfortable, and the case is even smaller than the Fiil case, and feels much sturdier than the slightly too plasticky feeling Fiil case. The game changer here are the features. Passthrough and noise canceling work pretty well.

This is my second pair of Ear Fun Frees, the first pair was purchased off indigogo as a backer and I was instantly impressed with them. I have owned headphones ranging in price from $10 up to $350. I have been a strong advocate of the Earfun Free, Free Pro 2, and Air Pro 2 on this forum, but I have to say the Soundcore Life A2 NC with Large wings, Spinfit CP1025 tips, and EQ set to "Piano" in the Soundcore app has significantly better sound quality than the Free Pro 2. The Free/Air Pro 2 have a bit better ANC than the Life A2 NC, and the Free Pro/Pro 2 has better passive noise blocking, but otherwise I think I'll be changing my daily drivers from the Free Pro 2 to the Soundcore Life A2 NC. I really liked the sound quality and signature of the Free Pro, but comparing them head-to-head with the Life A2 NC and the Free Pro 2, I have to rate the sound quality of the Free Pro 2 in 3rd place. They're bassy and "dark".

These are the first pair of "true wireless" earbuds I have owned so I dont' have a lot to compare them too.
