 I think that they're a sick ski. I had a blast the whole time and every single time that we were on the up, I was like, shit, the ski's light still and just going out on those corn turns, boof, so good.

 It's handled really well and I haven't seen any sort of faults in it and that's tricky to pull off. We headed up to the summit with all crampons, ice axe, water, everything we needed for the day and skiing with a backpack like that, it's really nice to have a tail you can rely on with the ski just in case you get kicked back a little bit. They did a really good job of having this stable flex in the back of the ski that you're able to feel good. You can really take those skis and roll them forward and stay in control

Definitely don't want to go too heavy, but also wary of going too light. I don't ski particularly hard/fast and don't plan on skiing anything high consequence or especially steep out of bounds. Looking for something that can hold up well across conditions through winter and spring, and is reasonably forgiving without skiing like a noodle. For reference, I am 5'10 180 and mostly ski on enforcer 104s when inbounds and love most things about them. Live and ski in Salt Lake area. This would be a dedicated touring set up. Recently picked up atomic hawx xtd boots.

Been looking at skis including Navis freebird, camox freebird, backland 100, Enforcer unlimted. Would love to hear insight about these or other similar skis, as well as bindings to match.

Touring ski advice

 I used this for several overnight trip in the Elk and Gore Range in Spring time and found the ski to perform well in a variety of conditions and have good touring weight. I would suggest the skins as well. The tip and tail features are amazing and the Pomoca/Dynafit partnership is impressive as far as utility and performance. The ski likes making turns, so great unless you are into high speed straight lining

Versatile Pow and Corn Ski

 It's quick edge to edge, floats in powder, and it's super light for its size. This was my go-to ski for ski traverses and big days with lots of vert when weight matters. It can get a little chattery and squirrly on steep icy variable snow, but that is a common trade off for a lighter ski. I totally would recommend this to anyone looking for a good ski for lots of vert, big days, and skiing pow

Great Lightweight Touring Ski

These skis were my work horses for the 2021-2022 winter season backcountry ski guiding and teaching avalanche courses. They are the first ski of this width I've ever owned that slay the pow and also have a versatile enough shape to also perform well in harder conditions and at the resort!
