I tried a bunch but I keep going back to the green Dunlop Tortex ones but I scratch them up with a knife for grip.

The writing wears off pretty quickly (maybe that’s common, the fender ones did too). After spending a little bit of time organizing and trying to keep it all organized, I realized that it’s rainbow-based according to thickness, so that’s cool! But … the Fender ones were so much more pretty —as well ...

Someone gave me a Dunlop max-grip .73 to try out. I haven’t gone back to the tortex since. The grip is legit

The guitar picks didn't come in original packaging. They came in a random plastic zipper bag and a couple of them appeared to be used.

Landed on 2mm Dunlop tortex about 20 years ago. Made a world of a difference. Occasionally use 1.5mm for acoustic. Took me like 12 or so years of digging through pick bins at the shops to get there....which is part of the fun!

Basically read the title of the review. They are overly big and terrible for fast picking. These are fine for camp-fire strumming.

Changing how I held and used my pick (Dunlop Tortex). I was holding the pick way too close to the end for too long and would end up scrapping my finger on the string. I was also putting too much of the pick on the string so I wasnt picking as much as I was shoveling the string. This led to the pick getting stuck a lot, and it being knocked loose or completely from my hand causing much frustration.

Super glad I bought these picks! I wanted to see which thickness I liked and if I liked the material better than the celluloid picks I had been using.
