good compact size, but noisy

I bought this less than a month ago and while it is a good size for my apartment and freezes stuff well, it is pretty noisy. There is this constant churning/scrapping like noise that it makes whch is very irritating. Don't know if it is the case for all freezers of this line or only mine. Good thing...

Pros: Very nice and compact. Cons: does not tell what temp it is one has to use own thermometer to fudge where to turn cold knob to. Also, although extremely well packaged, it did arrive with a ding which mss as manufacturer should address by adding protection to especially the front.

I was gifted a small Danby bar fridge over 30 years ago. It still runs great and for 3 months out of the year is outside in the elements of Mother Nature. Purchased our new freezer because of satisfaction of the fridge. Have recommended to friends as well.

Will most likely be dented on delivery

I was prepared for the freezer to arrive dented because of all the other reviews that said it was delivered with cosmetic damage. And it was. The freezer seems to function fine so far. Bottom line: buy it as long as youre willing to have a dented freezer.

After I open it and found have few densest outside, I know big item hard to return and hope I get discount for it. I can send you the picture of it.

We have one of these units, which was purchased about three years ago. When it was new it could chill down to zero degrees. Now it has trouble getting down to 15 degrees. It's not acceptable for a three-year old appliance to fail in this way.

Great little chest freezer!

We were gifted this chest freezer as a wedding gift 9 years ago. It has survived multiple moves including one 1000km away! We've recently started to look for a stand up freezer as a chest freezer can be hard to dig through to find food. Overall, very impressed with this brand!

The freezer is exactly what I wanted. It was well packaged so there were no dents of issues. It was delivered promply. I have had it plugged in for a while now and it works great. No noise whatsoever. I am very pleased with Danby but then I have always ordered Danby products.

Product is excellent and was delivered earlier than expected. Only problem was FedEx left it in the yard, in the rain. I guess they cant be bothered with knocking on the door anymore.
