Wind knot machine!
When I first received this braid I was excited! It felt smoother than my 4 strand powerpro, the color was beautiful, I heard amazing things about this product... however in use it was wind knot it after wind knot, it could pull fish in but it just kept knotting up. Wind Knots easy
Now I'm not a big fan of J-Braid. Only got 1 season from 40 pound test. I have had good luck with J-Braid GRAND 8. Only time will tell on the durability. I haven't tried it bass fishing. suppose it will be fine. I carp fish and rarely catch fish under 12 pounds and have landed a few 60+ pound grass ...

6 lb line breaks at 5 lbs
I bought the 6lb test J-braid grand x8 and immediately tested it upon delivery. Well it breaks right around 5lbs according to my digital fish scale. Yes it causes alot of wind knots and the line breaks easily
I am not new to fishing but among the lines I have used, this is the only line I experienced so much wind knots when casting, let alone the line breaks easily for a 15lb line.
Not sure if I received a defective line but avoid buying this at all cost since its a waste of money

To me it was the best around, the color just faded VERY quickly (which didnt really bpther me that much). Then a friend told me about this braid. Wow, is it ever superior in every way! It's...
