wear a apron and stand back

The lowest speed requires you to wear an apron and stand back because ingredients go flying. When I released the beaters, they shot 18 inches across the counter. There is no way this mixer will fold. BUT it does mix. Just at high speed. I doubt that I'll ever go beyond the first setting.

I know this will sound strange, but this mixer is a little too powerful. The lowest speed is not low enough. Sometimes you want more of a “stir” speed. Other than that, I really like the beaters with no center post and the way the electric cord can pivot.
