The Cross101 has a simplistic design with two velcro waist straps for sizing. It easily performs individual exercises for the elite-level athlete but is adaptable enough for various fitness levels and workout intensities. With ten individual weight carrying slots, you can adjust the resistance to fit your workout or activity to a tee. This vest adjusts weight in four-pound increments, which gives it slightly less precision than some of the other options in our test suite. That said, it maxes out at 80 pounds which offers a large weight range to play with. This vest is a great option for strength training and also won't empty your wallet. 
The Cross101, although moderately priced, has a few issues. The bulkier, full-length torso design hinders full range of motion while performing certain exercises like crunches. It doesn't have a ton of padding either, which can cause some discomfort on the shoulders at higher weight capacities. If this concerns you, supplemental shoulder pads are available. Also, due to its bulkier build, this vest is not the optimal choice for runners. Bottom line, the Cross101 is a classic tactical style weight vest. It's decently comfortable, performs admirably across most exercises, and offers some adaptability, all at a friendlier price point.

 This vest is comfortable to wear and comes with 10 iron or waves of 4 pounds each. The total weight of this vest with all waves added is 40 pounds. This will give you a lot of resistance to your training and enhance whatever workout you're doing, whether it's CrossFit sprinting, cross-training or strength training, even though it carries a lot of weight.  NOT made for running which I kinda had hoped I could figure out. I just lightly jog with it, but it for sure is not ideal for running. it be nicer if it had two separate straps but for the price and the way it is built I am 100% happy. I recommended it already to my friends

Great Product!

 Started doing a lot of body weight exercises just to try and keep some muscle. Then I bought the 40 lb version of this vest. I absolutely love it! It fits well and the shoulder pads definitely help. I think its very well constructed

 Then I do curls with the backpack. This has turned out to be the best fitness investment I've ever made. I give this vest Five stars! Two thumbs up and a standing ovation.

 It's very well made. How do i use it? When I do my cardio at the park, I throw 16 lb in the vest and it absolutely has upped the intensity of my workout. I wear it when doing my bodyweight and resistance band workouts at home (decline push-ups with 40 pounds in the vest make for a good chest workout!). I dont have any dumbbells, so I take the weights from the vest and throw them in a backpack

 I do like that it is a high vest that does not bind into your stomach if you bend over. Also, I was pleasantly surprise that my iPhone 12 Pro Max with a case actually fit into the front flap pocket. The weights are bag ballast not solid weights .

Be Prepare It Gives You A Work Out

 Wish I could have ordered some extra weights in 2 pounds (would even consider ordering all 10) so I could have evenly distributed the weight. Bottom line - vest is very good, fits snug, didn't bounce around during run or ride up in my neck during pull-ups or push-ups. Would definitely suggest to anyone looking for a weighted workout vest!

 So...to get the desired 20 pounds for Murph, I had to wear and unequal amount in front or back (chose to wear 3 on back and 2 on front)

Love the vest...wish I could order extra weights...

 one and i love it. The only cons are the weights are long weight bags so your kind of limited when decreasing weight. The other con is i cannot find extra weights for this product i want to be able to add weight but with the weights that kind of impossible, so if you want to go up and down in weight get one close to you goal weight and work you way up to it. I definitely would recommend this product
