CRKT M16 Review – Final Thoughts..So how does the M16 stack up? Well, I’m sure for many the tip down carry and Auto LAWKS will be mild to moderate turn offs

My favorite EDC so far. Looking to add a fairly small pocket knife to the daily rotation - recommendations?
I really like my CRKT M16-01S. I think it runs $30-40 on Amazon. It’s of good quality, holds up to edc, it’s a nice thin profile, lightweight knife. I carry it much more often than my Benchmade Infidel, which is a much pricier, larger knife.

This knife saved my life
I've always been a fan of the CRKT, I like the style, the maneuverability of the blade, it's sleek and easy to keep clean and sharp. I've always found this knife handy in a verity of situations from wood cutting to box opening and with it's slim design I can have it on my person at all times. But re...

CRKT M16-01KS Black Coated Stainless Steel Spear Plain
I've always liked the CRKT brand and like this recent purchase, however, I have one gripe with it. It is very difficult to unlock. Most locking folders have a tab or serrated edge to help you unlock with just your thumb. This knife has very little for your thumb to make contact with so as to move th...

Great slim knife!
The media could not be loaded. (Sorry for the noise on the video, I'm running Al6XN on a lathe) The perfect thin, light, strong, long clip edc knife I was looking for. Only thing I don't like it the locking system. The height on the lock is the same height as the handle on opposite side so makes it ...

Amazing value... with huge flaw - edit 5-20-20
This has got to be the most unique knife in my collection. Usually, if I were to imagine the specs of a 3" blade with steel frame lock, I'd imagine at least 4oz, probably veering on 5oz. I think I've read that this thing weighs in at 2.56, and I believe that to be very accurate. This doesn't feel fl...

Small and lightweight.
Already own 2 large tactical Carson 4" knives (a M16-14z and a M21-02G) . Ordered this one because it was cheap and added some variation to the collection. Was surprised that it was so tiny in comparison with the other knives. This is a manual knife, not spring assisted. So, opening requires a bit m...

Another great CRKT knife.
I had the original K.I.S.S knife from CRKT. I also have a small CRKT fixed blade knife. They are both great knives. Recently, I decided I'd like another CRKT folder. The M16-01S is another win for CRKT. Well made and study, yet small enough not to dominate your pocket. The minimal handle makes it li...

In general I like it a lot with two caveats..
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for an EDC for my pants pocket. With that in mind, it is light, sharp and solid so it should work great. If CRKT did a good heat treat on the 8cr13mov then the blade should hold a decent edge and have some toughness. One caveat is the ease with which the ...
