CORSAIR K55 RGB Pro

My biggest gripe with the keyboard is the metal "twang" produced after hitting a key with a stabilizer. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the springs or if it's from the stabilizer striking the PCB but there's a very annoying metallic ring especially present in the "enter" key. This could probably be rectified by lubing the stabilizers and filling the case with foam, but if you're someone who doesn't want to go through all that effort it's a substantial detractor from the user experience.

This keyboard types very smoothly and quietly. The lighting is decently configurable, not "impressive," but definitely functional. I feel like the translucent part of the keycaps is too opaque, making the back-matte brighter than the keys (this is not a good thing). But other than that, very decent....

Bought a couple of these for parts. Honestly a great deal minus the long wait time. All the parts are off the shelf parts except for the AIO (unless you upgrade). I personally upgraded the RAM to Corsair RGB Pro and changed the CPU to an i9-10900K.

This looks nice and the lights are bright but I don't like how the keys feel. There's no click or feedback and the keys feel soft. Once you're used to a mechanical keyboard it's hard to go to anything else. So I'll probably go back to a mechanical one.

I am looking to buy a decent keyboard under 3,000 which will last a few years and matches well with my Logitech G402. * Corsair K55 has really good reviews & 2 years warranty but seems pricey for membrane. * Amkette Evofox Katana is mechanical and cheaper but it is a quite new product & 1 year warranty. I am avoiding the more 'popular' CB/Redgear as I saw many reviews with issues after just a few months and I don't like the aesthetics - especially the CB ones.

I have a K55 but was looking to make a switch to a mechanical keyboard and really like the Corsair brand and look so was ideally looking to get one of their keyboards

I sampled and researched a number of mechanical switch keyboards and personally couldn't stand the clacking sounds they make, so this was a great alternative for me. It feels very tactile and even has a satisfying response as the keys bottom out, but as a membrane keyboard it doesn't have that loud ...

Now before you start commenting that hurrdurr mechanical keyboards are for gaming and so on, i know, and im using a mechanical keyboard right now. When i started playing on pc i used a Logitech k380 wireless bt keyboard and really liked it, but since it was Bluetooth and membrane it wasnt really good for gaming so i bought a Corsair k55.

this keyboard makes me like corsair even more because of its quality to afforability Ratio. it feels premium for its price. the key could be a alittle quieter and the hand rest that snaps on is a bit flimsy but you can take it off easily. other than that the g keys are great. just choose what softwa...
