Speedy, Tough Tubeless Tire
I’ve always been a big fan of Continental, and their latest tubeless tires keep that fandom going. These tires are easier to mount, they look fantastic (especially the tan-wall version), have excellent puncture protection, and rolling resistance slightly better than the previous version, the TL. Com...
Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR review
Continental Grand Prix 5000S TR bottom line. Though the claimed decrease in rolling resistance versus the outgoing GP5000 TL appears to be too good to be true, the Continental GP5000S TR nevertheless remains a benchmark tubeless road bike tyre. It strikes an ideal balance of low rolling resistance, durability and puncture protection that makes it very hard to beat

Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR 700 x 25C in review – What can tubeless tires do on the road?
Our conclusion on the Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR. The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR is a high performing all-round tire, scoring top marks for both comfort and efficiency, especially when set up tubeless and even with a narrow 25 mm tire. After working up a sweat to get the tire on the rim, you’ll be rewarded with outstanding cornering grip and first-class puncture resistance
Good tire so far
The tires came in original packaging. I bought the 700c x 25. The product description said that the max pressure was 73psi, but the specs on the tire showed 109psi (I ride at 80psi.) Running tubeless, I do loose about 20psi in about 48 hours. I’m not too concerned about it since tubed road tires wil...
Best Tubeless Tire? Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR
The second is that the road feel is dramatically improved and maybe that's because continental went from a three-ply to a ply construction, but it feels like these tires are solid and connected to the road where i feel like the previous version, if there was ever a knock, It's that they felt a bit muted and a little bit too soft. How would i rate these tires? I'D give them a 10 out of 10, a solid 10 out of 10. and frankly, for a tire with a 100 price point, it should be a 10 out of 10
The BEST Road Bike Tyre in 2022! | Continental GP5000S TR Review
In a nutshell, then it's pretty much a draw. What's the bottom line then well, the claimed decrease in rolling resistance versus the old gp5000tl appears too good to be true, but the continental gp5000 str nevertheless remains a benchmark, tubeless road bike tyre. It strikes an ideal balance of low rolling resistance, durability and puncture protection
