Someone says it leaves residue, not great greasy consistency. All one stars on Amazon not as advertised broke out my skin.

I have oily/combination skin and I really like the Cerave AM SPF 30 for daily use.

(Ps I also noticed it literally melts into the skin after using the Niacinamide booster from Paulas Choice as it really helped smoothen the texture of my skin!)

I started using both the AM and PM version of this product - I do like them both, but the AM is too “sunscreen-y” for me, it smells and feels just like you're putting sunscreen on your face and does leave a bit of a greasy feeling behind. However, I have tri|d Cerave's AM spf 30 formula because it combines it with a moisturizer and it works fine. Unfortunately, I need at least spf50 because I use tetrinoin which makes my skin sensitive to the sun.

I used the Cerave AM Lotion for years with great success. It was the only product on the market that perfectly moisturized and calmed my ultra-sensitive, acne-prone skin. AM: rinse with water, cerave fragrance free moisturizing cream (for dry to very dry skin) (+sunscreen but i’ve been going out mostly when it’s already dark so haven’t really used it lately). PM: wash with neutrogena hydro boost cleanser, ceravo moisturizer, vaseline. until last week i would also use the ordinary’s 10% lactic acid + HA every 3/4 nights and Paula’s choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant as a spot treatment but they haven’t really been doing much (have been using them since fall/winter of last year) and i’ve been looking up posts on this sub and i’ve decided to take a break from actives to see if it has something to do with hydration (which explains the vaseline).

It helped me with redness and inflammation and had my skin looking better within two weeks. I still use it every morning and night.

I love Cerave products. I have rosacea and it's great to be able to get quality products at a reasonable price with ingredients to help repair the skin barrier but minus irritating ingredients like fragrance.
