Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300

My current printer is Canon Pro-300 that I bought when my Pro-10 died. I started printing at home to be able to tweak everything to exactly how I wanted. The first 100 or so prints were inconsistent and often I had to make reprints of the same image. After some time, I now can pretty much nail all the Lightroom adjustments to produce a print that I am happy with within the first try.

I have a Canon Pro 100 that I use for indoor prints it’s dye based and prints fast, high quality and can handle just about anything with the rear feed tray; I use a Canon pro 300 for photo prints, stickers and it’s amazing 🤩. I myself have been on the reaching train for a graphic arts laser printer to handle an over 90LB card stock for business cards and there is nothing under 5k.There are some 11x17 printers that go up to 100lb but roll fees if I’m not mistaken, the OKI c431 handles about anything you can think of have a straight pass tray and 1200x1200 dpi. I hope this helps, tho I’m a little biased cause I been rolling with Canon technology for like 20+ years and never been disappointed.

Finally took the plunge and got a photo printer, Canon Pro-300. Still waiting for my paper stash to show up, but tried getting everything setup and do a few tests with the provided paper. Did nozzle check and printer auto alignment as per instructions on some plain letter. Draft print on plain letter did not have this problem.

The PRO-300 prints beautifully. BUT, the Professional Print and Layout (PPL) program does not work. The second problem is that Canon Support is unresponsive to my problem.
