LONGEST IRONS EVER TESTED? Callaway Rogue ST MAX ...

 These irons are the longest irons I have ever tested.

 Say hello to the all new Callaway Rogue ST Maxx OS irons.

 The Rogue ST Maxx OS is designed to produce as much ball speed as possible to correlate

 to more distance, meaning that these irons are mainly focused on getting you as much

 distance as possible, just to think without having to change any of your swing faults.

 You don't need all that with these irons, these do it for you.

 When I first looked at these irons, to be honest with you I thought it was a little

 bit of a gimmick just to start off with, but I was wrong.

 These irons are different to the normal Maxx irons.

 OS stands for Oversized, this means that this head is a much bigger and thicker head than

 Why would this iron stand out to any other cavity iron on the market?

 This is what I wanted to find out, so I did three different things.

 I hit these out on the golf course to see the launch and the overall ball flight.

 I also used these out on the golf course to look for any distance gains and this is what

 On the GC quad I noticed huge ball speed gains which I've never actually seen before.

 The only time I've seen an iron come very close to that was Callaway's Rogue ST Maxx

 With a ball speed of 152 miles an hour, this one got up to 153 miles an hour.

 I know it's only one mile per hour difference, but it sure makes a difference.

 This is still an extra 20 to 25 miles an hour more than what my irons would produce in ball

 It correlated to a carry distance of 217 yards, which is pretty mad.

 With an overall distance of nearly 240 yards.

 On the golf course these irons launched the ball so much higher than usual, with the overall

 I've got to say it started to make my neck hurt as I was hitting them and then having

 to look up like this, I was like, geez, I'm getting a bit of neck ache there.

 Also on the course when I checked for distance gains, I noticed a massive difference between

 I noticed a 20, 30 yards more on the golf course, which was insane.

 I was hitting seven irons from 210 yards away on the par four at Delamere and that was when

 But as you know, the harder you hit a golf shot, the higher the ball flight goes.

 And on that day of filming these shots on the golf course and testing them, it was very

 I did struggle with the consistency out on the golf course.

 I hit a few absolutely pure rounds, which stayed very straight, but a slightly off-centered

 Then the ball was moving way off targets, which is a massive downfall for these irons.

 You know, you're getting all this distance, but you're sacrificing a lot of consistency

 Just like any other cavity, but this one especially.

 I forgot to mention when I did the other review on the Callaway ST Maxx irons, I mentioned

 that those were the fastest irons that Callaway have ever produced.

 Now they've produced this one and that one beats that one.

 Callaway are still up in the lead for me personally with the fastest ever iron they've produced,

 If you're looking for a new iron on the market, which gives you much more ball speed to convert

 into more distance, then this is a club certainly to look at.

 It gives you that really nice higher ball flight as well, which should allow you when

 the ball lands on the greens to stop a little bit quicker.

 So I would definitely give these irons a try, but if you after more consistency, more accuracy

 and better dispersion and maybe a lower ball flight as well, then this video will be suited
