What games have replaced others in your collection due to having similar mechanics but were more enjoyable?
Calico is certainly simpler to learn and play, and it's tighter and more brain-burning. But Cascadia's animal goal cards and the openness of the tile laying give me more variety and fun.

It’s cat approved! 😂👌🏻 Took a minute to work through the instructions, but my family has really enjoyed this game. Right up our ally:)

You can carry a cat while a cat rides on your head while you ride a cat with cats following behind you. Amazing.

Indies of the Day - Thursday, June 10, 2021
BPAL **Calico Jack** *(sea air, driftwood, waterlogged kelp, and the memory of plundered spices sprayed over worn leathers, rough musk, and the salty wooden floorboards of the Revenge).*. I continue to be pleasantly surprised by this! It's also a sample that's about 2 years old, so perhaps it's benefitted from all that sitting around. I'mhesitant to try anything indie with some aquatic influences because non-indied tend to smell very same-y to me.

Potential brain injury ;)
Played this for the first time with my wife yesterday. I was really really impressed. This game can be a real brain burner. I’d say low-level abstract think Azul. A little more puzzly is Sagrada. And we love both of those games. But this one is prob next level in terms of potential difficulty. There...

This is the buggiest game I've ever played. Even after they cleaned out a lot of the bugs, it's still full of bugs. But if you're on this page right now, dreaming of a world where you ride a giant cat to a lovely town on the hillside, or prepare pastries in your own cafe, you probably don't mind any...
