 Would buy again depending on actual performance. Heaper filters appear to be same quality as OEM provided and fit perfectly and snug. Charcoal filters trap quite a bit of dust and need fairly frequent replacement. I usually vacuum off dust and it prolongs life for a few more weeks

 They are tough and do good work. This was a perfect replacements for the emiga 200m purifier and fit the dimensions exactly. There are no gaps to note and no off gassing from the filters. A far better value than OEM

  To switch out the filter there is a plastic bar on the top and the bottom. You can pull on them and they bend slightly to allow you to pull them out. They just stick into a slot on each side. The air flow actually keeps the filter in place but the stabalizer is just extra insurance that it stays put

I think I figured it out. When you take off the front grill facing you is a black filter. Then behind that is the HEPA filter which should be positioned so that the papery side is facing you next to the black filter and the shiny side is toward the motor. I think The shiny side is woven material that is the most impervious to the dust going through into the motor and air flow out into the room that's why you install it with the papery side toward the black filter

These fit my 4386 Fine, but the black filter is thinner than others I have used. I don't think this is a big problem as I plan to change it more often

This fits my Hamilton Beach Air Purifier model and works as intended. I only wish the actual filter had arrows on the side or something to show which way it's supposed to face during installation for proper air flow. I think I figured it out anyway.

I have used the little Hamilton Beach Air Purifier for YEARS and while it says it has a permanent filter, not so much. I have tried at least FIVE different ones including Hamilton Beach's replacement filters when I can get them, but I LIKE THIS COMBO BEST for the reasons below:  FILTER/CARBON FILTER COMBO - I love having these together. Keeps filter SO much cleaner and I have to replace less often. And the fact there are TWO carbon filters for each filter

WHY FIVE STARS...but there is one small con

 These are much thicker, sturdier, with one side nylon porous and the other side more paper like. And the carbon filter is very thick. I'm expecting much better, longer use from this filter than before. The others filled with dirt quickly and were too cheaply made to vacuum
