Brother DS-940DW

So far I’m really happy with the model I purchased. Printouts are beautiful, the printer feels like a tank, and costs are low even with Brother toner (I believe 2.7 cents per page).

I like this printer a lot, it's so easy to print from any device at home. And I have not had to refill the ink tanks since I got it around mid last year (though I already bought non-Brother ink tanks in case I run out). I'm pretty sure it accepts thicker paper types via the rear paper feed though I have not tried printing anything that requires that quality yet. I do highly recommend this printer, or at least suggest that you look into Brother ink tanks if what you're looking for is something dependable.

We just got a Brother WiFi MFC black and white laser, it was $240 AU, and so far best printer we ever had. It has made life so much easier, IT JUST WORKS, unlike the cheap cannon/Epson/HP inkjet we just sold. The brother just sits in a cupboard plugged in, and from any printer or device, whenever we need to print... Boom. It just works.

We use a small Brother laser printer at work and it out performs the big Kyocera and the Ricoh that we share with the rest of the office. That might be because there are less cavemen beating on it. But those ones constantly jam and streak. I say if you need something cheap, reliable, and easy, you can't go wrong with the brother.

The printer will see very minimal use, mostly for basic documents and I estimate the average number of pages will be less that 15 per month. Perhaps, there might be a need to print more in the future but for now it should be very minimal.
