Interesting design

Just received my Britax 2 pack.

 I kind of solved the problem by just putting the two shades, side-by-side, overlapping in the middle. It seems to be working fairly well, but light still finds its way around the shades because they are pretty narrow and don't cover the whole window. Also, these don't seem to be totally blocking the sunlight. The sun is still able to shine through

 Overall, this quality of this product is good. I just wish they were bigger. You'd have to drive a Fiat or a Mini Cooper to have them cover majority of the window.

Not ideal for your Prius.

 The Britax shades incorporate mesh and a sun-blocking film on the clingy side that sticks to the window. My Mazda 6's rear passenger-side window takes the whole shade wonderfully: slap it on, press down for a good fit, and go. Adjustments take seconds to correct it. The sticky side leaves few smudges on the glass, nothing that a quick wipe down with a paper towel or a wet wipe won't fix

 On our Ford Focus coupe, however, the tapering passenger side windows are wider at one end than the other. The EZ-cling sun shade adheres to the glass on one side, but on the other, it cannot really make contact with the fabric headliner. I am reluctant to cut the shades down to fit because I am unsure whether the mesh will stay attached to the film, or whether the whole kit and kaboodle will unravel. Squishing down does not produce an adequate seal

Mind your side window size

I recently ordered another set of these and am well satisfied with this product at this price point. The only drawback is that this does block some amount of visibility, especially so when you are driving in the evening sun and the sun is closer to the horizon. The shade reflects light in a way which can lead to a little loss of visibility. The only time I find it to be a problem is when taking a right turn at a red light (or other intersection without a signal) where you are required to watch out for incoming traffic from a distance

 I regularly find myself trying to peel it away to get better visibility in such occasions. The above also accounts for the reason why I removed one star from the review. (The visibility issue is only seen on the front driver side window and isn't really that bad, but I thought i should mention it in any case) Other salient points below: a) Attractively priced: For under 8 dollars, this is the best deal. b) Excellent clinging capabilities: Have been using it for over 3 months now and this shade really clings well

Good shade, clings well, blocks sunlight but also blocks a little bit of visibility

 So far they have stayed on for a week in the cold (Jan). It will be interesting to see how they stand up in the warmer months and us putting down our windows up front. We will also see how well it works with blocking the sun in the summer also (I will give another update then). I mean the description does say 30 SPF so it's not to going to block out much (like some of the thicker sun shades) as you can tell just by looking at them

 You unfold it and slap it up on your window, smooth it out and press it from one corner to the next, and you've got a bona-fide window shade. No weird attachments or little rubber things that you have to clean, lick and press onto the window, all the while praying that the sun and heat won't melt it off. Nothing complicated. And it's just as easy to pull off and repack

 I have had one in my car and my husbands car for over a year now without problems. Don't forget and accidentally roll down your kids window..

They Work If You Can Get Them to Stick

 I say "decent" because we have a sedan (not an SUV, Truck or Van) that features tapered windows (wide towards the middle and tapers to the back). As such, the shade only fits toward the front of the window and the taper ends up leaving a decent enough gap to impact how well the baby / child is sheltered from the sun (obviously depending on day / time of travel and direction of travel). Bottom line: This is a great alternative to other sunshades out there - ease of use and ability to help filter sun during a long car trip makes this a keeper item / worth the investment.
