I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

She might really like Chai by Byredo too based on your description. Tree House by Byredo isn’t vanilla or cinnamon but I feel like it’s a super safe buy, it smells a bit spicy but clean at the same time. 

 If you want to go all out, Gabriel by Cire Trudon smells incredible, it’s gourmand and smoky. The jars are hand crafted in Italy really beautiful and I think they make great gifts. It’s one of the oldest candle brands. 

I was thinking about getting my girlfriend some really nice candles for Christmas, not those cheap ones that have an overly sweet and sickly scent.

My girlfriend usually goes for candles like pumpkin spice, vanilla, or cinnamon during the winter months, if that helps with your suggestion at all.

Hinoki Fantôme from Boy Smells is my go to for what you described. It’s a slow start, but after that first burn the throw is even and beautiful.

Hello! I have been searching for strong smelling candles. I recently purchased some Boy smells (broken rosary and the fantome) i loved the smell profile but the actual burn was super underwhelming and not at all present. 

I also recently tried 'shrine' candles and 'otherland' and have tried diptyque in the past.  But at their price point they were all so underwhelming.

The only candles i have continuously bought that live upto my standards are voluspa *Makassar Ebony* &amp; *Peach, arguably the best smelling candle i have ever smelled. And also Capri blue aloha orchid.*

I like heavy perfumed scents that are not gourmand but earth, perfume and floral.
