Bose Soundlink Micro is just Bluetooth, not HomeKit or AirPlay. My daughter uses one in the shower. Their Smart Speaker line has AirPlay, and the Portable is battery powered and water resistant, but a bit overkill for the shower.

I have been using the Bose Soundlink Flex Bluetooth Speaker for a while now. One of my favorite things is that it can connect to multiple bluetooth sources at one time and each time I turn the speaker on it tells me the source it is connected to OR when the source reconnects to it after it is turned...

However, when on video calls for work, the built-in mic quality is terrible, and just recently the left ear has no sound when on Bluetooth. So they’re now just a plain set of wired headphones.
