Bose Sleepbuds II

Let me know what your thoughts are on this new bose sleep buds, 2 design.

I got really lucky because they lasted this entire time, except for the magnet falling out which I ended up fixing myself out of desperation. When they announced the Sleepbuds II I chatted with Bose right way to ask if they could take my old ones with the screwed up magnet for the new ones and they said yes. I just received my Sleepbuds II today and I can't wait to try them! I'm excited that they supposedly put a non-friction coating on them so I might not hear my pillowcase rubbing against them.

Bose Sleepbuds II may work for you. I've not tried them myself but I have looked into them. They don't have noise canceling but are ear plug style and will play audio that is saved onto them - that may help drown out any alarm noise. I think new they are a little over your budget but may be worth looking into as they are designed for sleeping unlike most normal ear buds.

When you put one in, wait a couple seconds for the little cone to expand fully, and rub your fingers together next to your ear. If you can BARELY hear it, the bud is in right. If you can hear it pretty well, then twist the bud a bit, wait again, rub fingers again. Keep going until that bud is in rig...

A bit expensive but definitely worth it if you value your sleep. Just having the Sleepbuds in-ear without it even turned on reduces noise by about 50%.

I bought these for my wife a little over a year ago and they worked great for a while until the case stopped holding a charge which left the buds dead when she was ready to use them. I've unboxed them and plugged them in however they aren't responding at all and won't charge. I've tried using the cable from my Bose QuietComfort buds and that doesn't work. Tried a few different power adaptors, doesn't work. Different power points, still nothing.

I also own the Bose Sleepbuds II, which are dedicated to helping you sleep using the same concept with background and ambient sounds. They fit in your ears perfectly and won’t fall out no matter your position or how you move around while you sleep. The AirPods would definitely fall out.
