We worry that the annoyance of the weight, limited ventilation, and lack of comfort might translate into some climbers wearing this helmet less often, thereby negating the purpose of a helmet altogether.  You know two different main kinds of helmets, so for a hard shell helmet, this is about as light as it gets, and lightweight is definitely what you want when you're climbing an alpine and hiking lots of miles carrying all the gear that you have so and i, Like hard shell helmets for alpine climbing, because a lot of times you have a helmet on the outside of your pack or you're, just bumping around through third fourth class climbing taking your pack off setting things down. So this is a really nice helmet because it's durable and it lasts a long time. Anything you don't like about the helmet anything i don't like about the helmet. Good only for light bump protection

 They really look like a bike helmet. Those are super nice. They run a bit cooler and they're much lighter. However, if you drop them once on a hard floor or rock you are we're supposed to, you are supposed to replace those helmets

 There are much more expensive helmets on the market and there's some other manufacturers, but I purchased this in Jackson, Hole for a local store that I love and it fit the bill. It was inexpensive and it got me out climbing so check it out. I'Ll put a link below to the Black Diamond, Half Dome helmet for you to click, and also you can check out my book on loss.  So this this helmet really does actually quite well in the weight department. There are the ultralight helmets where they're pure styrofoam. They really look like a bike helmet. Those are super nice

  Sizing seems true - I have the M/L and I have a larger head than average.  Adjustments were easy to do with one hand while wearing with the built adjustment knob.  It sat well on my head, and for the most part, just forgot I was wearing it.  I think it even looked OK on my head (helmets often look goofy on me)

Nice light weight, affordable helmet

 This brand new helmet shipped covered in what appeared to be climbing chalk all over it and the box it was in. It also has a white mark on the rear of the helmet that was present and I have yet to find something to remove it with. If I didn’t need the helmet for an upcoming trip I would have sent it back to the seller.  If a supposed new helmet isn’t in a completely new state then it shouldn’t be sold on Amazon
